Changhong Network Technologies, Bank of China launch first digital yuan hard wallet charging pile project in Guangdong

Guangdong province’s first digital yuan hard wallet charging pile project was launched in Luohu district, Shenzhen on December 27, 2021. Led by Luohu district government, the project also involves Sichuan Changhong Network Technologies Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Changhong Network Technologies”), Bank of China Shenzhen branch and China Gas Holdings. The project represents a new application case of using digital yuan wallet to boost cashless payments in the electric vehicle market and promote internet finance to empower various industries.

 

As part of the project, Changhong Network Technologies is responsible for developing the terminal for the hard wallet and offering secure mobile payment solutions such as trusted execution environment (TEE) and near-field communication (NFC) technology. With extensive experience in integrating and applying advanced security terminals and digital rights management (DRM) systems, Changhong Network Technologies has served over 100 mobile service operators worldwide – a testament to the company’s reliability and security systems.
